Clever Little Bird

Clever Little Bird is a beautifully illustrated children's picture book that will appeal to adults and children, but especially to ages 3 to 8 years old. The story begins at Kincaid Park in Anchorage, Alaska where a lonely bull moose named Auggie lives.  He meets a noisy magpie who offers to eat the bugs that are pestering him and the two become friends.
Maggie learns that Auggie misses his brother, so the two set off for the Chugach Mountains to find him. Read how the dangers they face help strengthen their friendship. Artist Chris Floyd captures the beauty of Anchorage with his whimsical illustration style.
